Welcome to Ye Olde Red Lion This is a superb Pub Restaurant with beautiful en suite bed and breakfast accommodation situated in the charming village of Chieveley 5 miles north of Newbury 2 minutes drive from Junction 13 of the M4 / A34 in the delightful Berkshire countryside.

Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our restaurant where our team of chefs are building an excellent reputation for serving great meals at reasonable prices from fresh local produce. We also have a lunch and light meals menu that can be enjoyed in our bar or alfresco in our garden or patio area. If you just want to have a quiet drink with friends come and try our selection of real ales lagers and fine wines.

We are also able to offer you ensuite accommodation in our adjoining 15th century house. So whether you are on business visiting family or here for a weekend at Newbury races come and stay with us for a great all round experience.
