We offer value for money quality accommodation. Located just outside the pretty market town of March in Cambridgeshire and surrounded by open farmland big skies and wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Our 5 acre property backs onto the Old River Nene giving our guests access to one of the Fen's gentle waterways and is set in amongst farmland but only 2 miles outside of March town centre - best of both worlds.
Enjoy a leisurely walk along its bank and watch the narrow boats and swans pass by. Enjoy some fishing and canoeing off our private mooring. Our bed and breakfast rooms offer light spacious and comfortable accommodation with hearty quality award winning breakfasts.
There is also a cosy welcoming conservatory available for our guests to use to enjoy the sunshine a change of scenery or play some parlour games. Rooms come with SLS and parabens free toiletries home made biscuits high speed internet and Hypnos mattresses. We have flexible accommodation from single occupancy to comfortable multi occupancy in our larger rooms.
All rooms have either ensuite facilities or private bathrooms. There are also self catering options too. If you enjoy walking we are on public footpath number 7 which takes you into March and is part of the Hereward Way Walk.
For cyclists holidaying on National Cycle Path 63 we provide an ideal stopping point to stay the night. We operate discounts for campers arriving by foot or by bicycle and can provide secure storage for your equipment overnight. Our guests can fish free of charge from the banks of the Old River Nene (Course fishing) at the bottom south eastern boundary of our land.
Just bring your rod license and your tackle. Fish for Bream Tench Eels Pike Rudd and Roach. We have a mooring you are welcome to use too (maybe shared during busy times with canoeists and other guests) We have a small campsite with hardstandings and electric hook up on site too
