Welcome to the friendly atmosphere of Ash Farm Country Guest House. We pride ourselves on our hospitality and warm reception. Afternoon tea is served as soon as you have settled into your room and freshened up if necessary, or you can sit in the residents lounge on arrival and ‘get your breath’ before unpacking ready to explore all the delights that await you in and around Little Bollington, Cheshire.
ASH FARM COUNTRY GUEST HOUSE is a beautiful detached 18th century National Trust farmhouse, although not a working farm, set in the majestic countryside of Cheshire yet only 10 miles from Manchester International Airport and Manchester City Centre. Halfway between Altrincham, Hale, Bowden and the lovely village of Lymm – these lively towns offer restaurants, cafes, theatre or cinema, even ice skating and a number of challenging golf courses. The night life is not bad either if that’s what you are looking for.
Closer still The Dunham Massey Hall and Deer Park (7 minutes stroll down the lane) and the Bridgewater Canal in the opposite direction are a must for walkers and nature lovers alike. Tatton Park with the Japanese Gardens is 10 minutes drive and Lyme Park is within easy reach. If it's true relaxation you are looking for then just sit on the terrace in the back garden – we are fully licensed or if you prefer you can have a cream tea and watch the world go by in perfect peace.
Business men, walkers and explorers, couples on a romantic getaway, there’s something for everyone Ash Farm is a listed National Trust Building along with the barns alongside the main house. House Martins are a protected species and have been visiting Ash Farm to breed during the summer months for at least the 20 years' that David and Janice have been the proud occupiers and managers of this perfectly charming bed and breakfast.
