We offer a warm welcome and friendly service to locals and visitors alike in our bar and restaurant. We are fully licensed for wedding ceremonies and can offer meeting facilities in our spacious function room.
We have eight comfortable en-suite bedrooms with superior rooms enjoying the spectacular views over the valley. Free WiFi is available throughout public rooms. Food is available in our restaurant and Snug Bar every lunchtime and evening.
Dogs are allowed in the Snug bar where there is also a TV and darts board. A General Knowledge Quiz is held every Sunday night. The Padley Room with its spectacular views over the terrace garden and the valley beyond can seat up to 50 people for a formal sit down meal.
More informal gatherings can be up to 100. The Padley Room is licensed to hold civil ceremonies. For smaller events or meetings The Snug can seat up to 15 people.
Many walks are available directly from the Hotel including the National Trust property of Longshaw. Sheffield and the Hope Valley are easily accessed by train or bus. Taxis are more difficult to get so please book ahead if you are wanting transport to and from an event.
Chatsworth House is approximately 10 minutes by car.
