The Bear Inn and Hotel is a historic restaurant and hotel set in the rolling hills of the Derbyshire countryside. One of the few remaining English coaching Inns and hotels. We have a total of 7 bedrooms set above an award winning restaurant and two self-contained cottages.
The Bear offers something for everybody whether you're on business in the area looking for somewhere to stay with lots of character or a couple wanting a relaxing break. Oak beams log fires and real ales.
The Bear Inn and Hotel is one of the oldest and most renowned Inns and restaurants in Derbyshire. Overlooking miles of countryside that spawned the Industrial Revolution and the globalisation of textiles. The Derwent valley has played backdrop to many a canvas and Hollywood movie; sample it for yourself along with our fine wine and celebrated menu.
