GRETENHAM is an Edwardian town house situated on rising ground off the town centre of Swanage. The first floor king size guest room is east facing with a view of the road and sea. Modern mirrored furniture gives the room a contemporary feel alongside its original features.
Breakfast is served in the room at a time chosen by you 7.45 to 9.30 am. Our first floor standard double room is also ensuite and the breakfast is served in our lovely downstairs front room/lounge with open fireplace.
GRETENHAM is an Edwardian town house in the Victorian style in a row of twelve large Edwardian and Victorian houses. Situated on rising ground just off the town centre we are minutes from the local pubs restaurants beach pier railway and downs. Limited free parking is available on the road outside and further parking is available on adjoining roads.
The house is decorated in a contemporary style mixed with antiques paintings and prints. The large first floor bedroom has mirrored furniture and a king size bed giving it a contemporary feel alongside the original features which include an open fireplace. TV with remote control.
WIFI. Hospitality tray. The king-size en-suite bathroom includes a large shower with sliding door and Mira electric shower washbasin toilet and heated towel rail with essential toiletries provided.
Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before from the menu and is served in the east facing bay window of the bedroom at your selected time between 7.45am and 9.30am. We are able to cater for any special dietary requirements. We also provide a kettle teas coffee water and biscuits in the room.
Our standard ensuite room with smaller bathroom is west facing and overlooks the rear of the property with views to the hills. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before from the menu and is served in our lovely ground floor lounge which has an open fireplace (log fire in winter!) with road view at your selected time between 7:45 am and 9:30am. Free WIFI is available.
We have a large shared bathroom with Victorian rolltop bath which guests are welcome to use if they would like a long soak after a days walking or activities. John and Lou Condie have lived in the area most of their lives and will be able to recommend places for you to eat drink and visit.
