The Inn has been developed on the site of the 1870s Bournemouth to Ringwood railway, with many items of railway memorabilia still remaining.

It is ideally situated in order for you to take advantage of the country pursuits available in the New Forest and Avon Valley, as well as the sailing, shops and theatres in Bournemouth and Poole.At the Avon Causeway we offer accommodation to hotel standards combined with the opportunity to stay in a traditional inn. All the rooms are en-suite and offer colour television and tea and coffee making facilities.

The Avon Causeway offers wedding facilities including a beautifully appointed bridal suite.
