
A warm welcome from Gavin and Karen. The Anchor Inn was taken over by Gavin and Karen Reay in 2005 and it has quickly gained a reputation for its warm welcome fine food character and charm. With the recent addition of luxury bed and breakfast accommodation this traditional pub has lots to offer visitors of all ages.
The bar and main restaurant area is large and spacious featuring traditional beams natural stone walls and log burning stove. All SIX of our rooms are spacious offer exceptional views across the surrounding valley have been individually furnished to the highest of standards and feature super king size beds (four of which can be used for twin occupancy). They all have their own en-suite bathroom with either a large walk in power shower or bath with power shower as well as contemporary basins and heated towel rails solid oak furniture wall mounted flat screen TVs, WiFi and Freeview TV.
They also have luxury linens black out blinds robes hospitality trays (with tea coffee hot chocolate fresh milk and mineral water) complimentary toiletries hair dryers hair straighteners alarm clocks (on request) luggage racks and fluffy bath sheets. An iron/ironing board is available on request. All of our linens are suitable for those with allergies and allergy free duvets and pillows are available upon request when booking.

Breakfasts are served fom 7.30 am till 11am Our Restaurant opens at 12pm and food is served till 9.00pm Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday till 9.30 Friday and Saturday and till 8.30 on Sundays. Our menu is very extensive so there is something for everyone.
