Accommodation Description:

Welcome to the Greyhound Inn, an old coaching inn dating from 1502. Situated in the East Sussex village of Wadhurst. The Greyhound is close by to attractions such as Bewl Water, Scotney Castle and Royal Tunbridge Wells, making it the perfect choice for a weekend break, with friends or family.

Wadhurst is located in some of the South of England's most beautiful countryside with a wealth of walking opportunities on its doorstep.

With a roaring fire for cold winter nights and a picturesque secluded garden for long summer days, the Greyhound is a traditional English pub steeped in local history. Whether you're looking for a quick pint of local Sussex ale or a three course feast, accompanied by wine from our carefully chosen wine list, a warm and friendly welcome awaits you. And if you're looking for somewhere to have breakfast then come and join us on weekends from 9am to 11am.

At the Greyhound we use locally sourced produce to prepare our delicious food and you will find lots of choice, from classic British pub food, (try our home-made pies or Harveys battered cod), to a lighter bite. You are sure to be tempted by something on offer, maybe leaving room for our delicious homemade desserts. As well as serving great food and drink, you can stay in our cosy Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the converted stables, or celebrate a special occasion in our private function room.

At the Greyhound there is always something going on, be it live music, quiz nights, the Bewl Barrel Race, or our monthly curry club. To find out more about what's happening check our news and events page. Whether you come to eat, drink or stay, we look forward to welcoming you to our pub Shula & Dan
