Situated along the picturesque Hastings seafront, the Best Western Royal Victoria Hotel provides high standards of comfort and hospitality. Whether you are looking to explore the offerings of the East Sussex coastline, or just want to stay at a quality hotel in Hastings, we are sure youll enjoy your stay with us. Built in 1828, as the focal point of Burtons St Leonards, we derive our name from Queen Victoria who ranks among the hotels many famous visitors.

Others include King George V, Prince Albert, Edward VII, Gladstone, Palmerston and Tennyson. Many of the elegantly spacious and comfortably furnished bedrooms feature a separate lounge area and enjoy stunning views over the English Channel and Beachy Head. For those special occasions there are several suites and a room with a spiral staircase from the lounge, leading to the bedroom and bathroom on an upper level.

All rooms have en-suite facilities with showers over the baths, Colour TV, direct dial telephones with data ports, hairdryer, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities. A lift serves all floors. Complimentary WIFI to all paying guests in public areas, conference rooms and all bedrooms.

In the Sea Terrace Restaurant, located on the first floor, you are able to enjoy a selection of traditional and international cuisine each dinner whilst enjoying the spectacular views across the channel. A wine list featuring wines from around the world will complement your meal. A speciality of the Best Western Royal Victoria is the traditional Sunday Lunch Carvery featuring Chefs Roasts and a selection of homemade Sweets. The Piano Lounge and Bar are also situated on the first floor at the top of the grand marble staircase with its 20ft high mirror.

Here you are able to enjoy a selection of bar snacks in comfort or an after dinner drink in a relaxing atmosphere taking in the splendid views. As a building of historical repute, weddings, conferences and functions are also a regular fixture here. Housing 3 large main function rooms which seat up to 150 guests and 4 smaller syndicate rooms which seat up to 40, we have built up a wealth of experience in arranging social events and functions over the years and pride ourselves in the quality of service we provide.

Throughout the year we also regularly hold special events for festivals and dates in the UK calendar. Should you be interested in any of the information above and wish to find out more please contact reception and we will be more than happy to help.
