Privately owned hotel conveniently located within an 8 minute drive from M25J20, M1J8 and Maylands Avenue Industrial Estate. Also just a 5 minutes walks to Euston Station.This family run and owned hotel dates back to the early 17th century and built as the gatehouse to Boxmoor House. Extended for additional accommodation including conferencing facilities, the hotel, now with 25 well equipped comfortable rooms including all modern facilities guests would expect.

The hotel prides itself for itself for its well earned reputation for high class service and facilities while maintaining a friendly personal service to guests. The hotel features an award winning conservatory restaurant where the highest quality of cuisine is prepared and served. All rooms may be reserved as singles if required. All bedrooms are en-suite and have colour television (including satellite channels at no extra charge), direct dial telephone with modem point, hospitality trays for tea and coffee making, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Family rooms including cots are available on request.

A specially designed room for disabled guests is also available at the hotel.The restaurant has been designed in elegant surroundings, and overlooks the hotel gardens. The candlelit atmosphere provides the perfect setting for fine dining. The hotel boasts a small and friendly well stocked bar so guests can enjoy their favourite beverage in the bar or the lounge, where they can relax and enjoy the surroundings.The hotel is located in a Designated New Town which means that it was completely redesigned and rebuilt after World War 2 though the Old Town as affectionately referred to by residents is still standing.

In the town, there is a plethora of things guests to the hotel can do such as Leisure World at jarman park which houses Ice Skating, Swimming, Bowling, Pool and Arcade machines. For those looking for something a little slower, Little Hay and Shendish Manor both have 18 or 9hole Golf courses with pitch and putt and Little Hay also offers tuition.Guests are in luck too as Hemel is located on the central routes of several different travelling methods, be it train, motorway and with places like London only 25miles away, even more attraction options open up. Windsor Castle is 21miles away to the South, Whipsnade zoo is only 8miles away to the North and for guests looking for a bit of history outside of Hemel Hempstead, the Roman City of St Albans is only minutes away to the east.
