There are also 6 quality full en suite rooms consisting of 4 Kings 1 twin and a cosy double.The Blackbird Inn is well located near Wellington just off the A38 just 4.5 miles from Taunton and is less than an hours drive from the seaside towns and villages South and North Somerset. Exmoor National Park is on our doorstep.

The inn has a country traditional atmosphere extensive open beams brass fittings and open fireplaces. The Bar is very well stocked with many Local Real Ales local Ciders Stouts Bitters & Lagers with a comprehensive wine list of wines from around the world.

Wellington has a long history first recorded in 899 then known as Weolingtun which means "wealthy estate". A royal charter of 1215 gave Wellington its status as a town and during the medieval period it grew as a centre for trade on the road from Bristol to Exeter.
