Our wonderful Exmoor Country House offers luxury accommodation in a boutique hotel style. Wake up to a hearty breakfast and truly breath-taking views that stretch across the hills and moors. Dunkery Beacon Country House is a former Edwardian hunting lodge and has eight luxuriously appointed and individually decorated en suite rooms one with private facilities.

Our award-winning restaurant serves dinner from Wednesday to Saturday evening. Advance booking essential as limited dining space.

We are situated down a quiet country lane near to Dunster and Porlock in stunning unspoilt countryside. After a day full of interest and activity why not relax once again in the dining room and enjoy a gourmet three course evening meal (Wed - Sat). Standing in lovely gardens Dunkery Beacon Country House is a former Edwardian hunting lodge and has seven luxuriously appointed and individually decorated en-suite rooms plus one with private facilities.

One of the bedrooms we have is located on the ground floor so ideal for people with limited mobility plus we also designate 2 bedrooms as dog-friendly. Children 10 years of age and over are welcome. Our aim is to create an atmosphere that is welcoming relaxing and refreshing and with our en suite bedrooms we provide a superior level of comfort with fantastic views across the moor.

Situated near some of the prettiest villages and dramatic coastline in Britain and with stunning moorland literally on the doorstep our country home provides the perfect location for an Exmoor experience or to visit Somerset Devon and beyond.
