Accommodation Description:

Retreat from the world at our unique bed and breakfast near Southwold in Suffolk. The Stables is a Grade 2 listed stylishly converted Coach House originally built around 1750. The real magic of this bed and breakfast is its setting in Henham Park – 800 acres of Repton designed listed private parkland.

Our aim is to offer you quality accommodation and comfort in beautiful peaceful surroundings. We want all our guests to feel welcome and at home.

The Stables is a sympathetically converted Suffolk Red Brick country house with clock tower. All of the stunning bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and the bedrooms and bathrooms are large and airy with oak beams and vaulted ceilings. There is a great sense of space in the building and in the setting and yet the accommodation is warm and homely perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day walking along the Sunrise Coast.

The setting could not be more tranquil and secluded with views as far as the eye can see of parkland ancient trees and woodland and the resident horses sheep and cows. Book with us and enjoy lavish breakfasts with local produce and fresh ingredients. Healthy and alternative options are on offer each day along with the traditional full English breakfast.

Vegetarian breakfasts are also available. The Stables offers perfect accommodation for walkers cyclists bird watchers nature lovers artists writers couples looking for a romantic hideaway families and anyone looking for tranquility beauty and comfort. We also have facilities for business travellers including a desk in each room a meeting room available early breakfasts and free Wi-fi.

We have a guest lounge with honesty bar. We can offer plenty of recommendations on what to do locally along with walking and cycling maps. The gorgeous Georgian seaside resort of Southwold is our nearest town with Minsmere Nature Reserve Dunwich Heath Aldeburgh Snape Maltings Beccles Halesworth Covehithe all within easy reach.

Henham Park is the site of the award winning Latitude Festival though our bed and breakfast is booked by the organisers and therefore unavailable during the festival. Guests should be aware that during the build and take down of the festival access to the main parkland will be restricted.
