The pub is located on the main road into Bembridge (the largest village in England) and has ample parking. The Pilot Boat Inn is close to the harbour beach and a few minutes walk from the village shops. The villages of Bembridge and St Helens are located at the eastern end of the Isle of Wight on either side of Bembridge Harbour and are a popular location for visitors to explore either for a day whilst staying elsewhere or alternatively as the main base for their Isle of Wight holiday. The Island is a beautiful place to stay and explore whether it's the downland the harbour and marshes the many pleasant and varied coastal and rural walks or simply the beach.
The Island is popular for many recreational sports including golf walking and cycling. There are also lots of water sports available with Bembridge and Seaview (next door village) offering some of the best sailing facilities in the world. Bembridge beach is a mecca for kite surfers windsurfers and boating generally.
Priory Bay beach one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island is close by. Bembridge airport is five minutes away. Nearby within the parish is the beautiful walking spot of Culver Down with stunning views over the Eastern Solent and the English Channel.
