
Milton House Bed and Breakfast is an early Victorian House nestled in the heart of the Village of Askrigg in Wensleydale. Our aim is to provide you with a relaxing and memorable stay while you sample everything Askrigg and the surrounding area has to offer.

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE STUDIO SUITES: A luxury breakfast Hamper with all you need to prepare a continental style breakfast at your leisure, a packed lunch or light supper. We also offer a Room Service Menu if you prefer the traditional cooked breakfast option to order and delivered to your suite. ONE COMFORTABLE DOUBLE BEDROOM at the rear of the house.

There are 3 pubs in the Village serving food at lunch time and evenings. The Crown Inn which is just over the road also do hot take out home cooked meals, the local deli The Bake Well sell all manner of pies quiches salads and home cooked take away meals. We care about your sleep at Milton House, after all the clue is in the name!.
All our rooms have blackout blinds/curtains. Luxury organic mattresses/ mattress toppers hand made by skilled craftsmen at Abaca Organic in West Wales using natural materials such as wool, latex and cotton. We make sure crawling into bed feels just as good as it does at home.
All rooms are centrally heated with room-controlled heating, little extras to make sure you remember us as being a comfortable safe and flexible place to stay. Here in Askrigg we’re a little bit hidden and that’s just how we like it. Our claim to fame is that our little village starred in the orriginal hit BBC series All Creatures Great and Small which celebrated the work of James Herriot-very fitting given our location is right at the heart of Herriot Country!
