The Granby is a traditional pub situated on the ever popular West Cliff of Whitby. We are located two minutes from the busy Whitby Pavilion and famous whale bones. Whilst offering clean and comfortable accommodation The Granby has live entertainment every weekend throughout the year.

Our opening hours are 11 am till 12 am everyday and food is served from 12pm till 9pm seven days a week.There are plenty of local amenities are close to hand and the habour front is only a 5 minute walk.

The bustling town centre and popular harbour is a 5 minute walk away. We are also an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Coast. We provide comfortable accommodation with 3 double rooms a 2 bedroomed family room and a 3 bedroom appartment.

All rooms are equipped with flat screen televisions, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, free Wifi, shower and basin (wc is situated on the landing). The newly refurbished 3 bedroom apartment comprises a spacious lounge with flat screen TV a dinning area two double and one single bedrooms shower toilet and kitchen. There is live music every weekend an open mike night on Wednesdays and Bingo on Tuesdays.

Whilst the bars are dog friendly PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE ROOMS. The Granby is open from 11am until 12pm and serve home cooked food from 12pm until 9pm. We provide a scratchcard for on street parking nearby.
