Poplar House' (with its own private off-road parking) is a delightful high-class double-bedroomed Serviced Flat/Apartment that lies close to York City walls in the iconic Georgian Mount area of York and is within 5 minutes walking distance of both the historic Micklegate Bar and the York city walls. Poplar House is also conveniently just 1015 minutes stroll to York Railway Station (and celebrated York Railway Museum!) about the same distance to York Racecourse Grandstand on the Knavesmire and to York city-centre itself. Poplar House Service Apartments are set-back from Scarcroft Road (the Inner A59) and overlook the picturesque Scarcroft Bowling Greens and the green-belt of Scarcroft Green itself.

Poplar House has its own private (and free) off-road parking for all its residents.The detached 1940's red-brick period-property (which operates a non-smoking policy) is part of an independent residential block of 4 apartments with a large communal garden. The Service Apartment also has its own small private garden within the larger residential garden area. The property has been recently beautifully refurbished and consists of a double-bedroom bathroomshower large hall fully-equipped all mod-con's kitchen and large lounge area.

The apartment has a 37 widescreen TV DVD and music-player and Free Internet WiFi.Upon on check-in you will be met by Shaun or Lilian who will give you a guided tour of the apartment.
