The Ship Inn is in the centre of Rye, at the bottom of Mermaid Street. The pub was built in 1592, originally as a warehouse to store contraband seized from smugglers. It is now a characterful countryside pub, with old beams and wooden floors and various areas to sit in and relax

Willow Tree House has now been open as Guest Accommodation /B&B for the last 2 years, but during 2003 - 2007 had been completely and sympathetically refurbished. Externally, the house is as it was some 270 years ago, internally it has been completely re-designed whilst we have managed to retain many of its original features, character and charm.
