Accommodation Description:

Morven Lodge is situated within the beautiful village of Ballater and only a short walk to the shops cafes and restaurant. There is an 18 hole golf course laid out alongside the river Dee. Cycle hire is available within the village and an option to have professional guided hill walks and fishing can be arranged if sufficient notice.

Large private gated entrance leading to large driveway suitable for several cars and large vehicles. Seating in front garden for guests to relax and enjoy the surrounding areas. We are animal lovers but do not permit pets within the lodge itself.

A suitable lockable habitat can be provided for your pets if sufficient notice provided. Lovely flat walks around the river or for the more adventurist "Craigendarroch" hill opposite the lodge giving great views of Ballater and the river Dee. The Queens Scottish residence Balmoral castle Crathie church and a Whisky Distillery is approximately 6 miles away.

The ski areas of "Glenshee" and the "Lecht" are approximately half an hours drive from Ballater again hire equipment is available Come and stay in this beautiful part of Scotland and leave feeling enlightened and refreshed. This is our family home and we hope you treat it as your's during your stay. Enjoy!! (Newly opened July 2016).
