Accommodation Description:

We are a family run B&B situated beside Stonehaven harbour. Stunning scenery and fabulous walks around the bay and to the historic Dunnottar Castle. Recently refurbished rooms boast free wifi digital TV/DVD players and high quality linen.

Pubs restaurants and shops a short walk away. Aberdeen is only a 15 minute drive away.

15 Shorehead Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located on the picturesque harbour in the beautiful coastal town of Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire. The B&B is run by mother and daughter Wilma Bruce and Kay Kuszpit former proprietor and manager of the St Leonards Hotel. 15 Shorehead is a former fisherman’s house providing shelter for 4 families in the original accommodation and can be dated to circa 1790.

The property had a smoke house in the garden for the fisherwives to smoke the catch and they would sit in the courtyard mending nets and bating hooks. The house – previously run as ‘Harbourside B&B’- has undergone extensive and complete refurbishment since changing hands in October 2013. Now a beautiful and tastefully decorated B&B with the rooms offering full en-suite shower rooms with quality fixtures and fittings.

All rooms have top quality beds linen and towels. Hospitality products are provided for your comfort and a hospitality tray for the much needed refreshment at the end of a hard day. Your room is fitted with a flat screen TV/ DVD combo as well as a hairdryer ironing board and iron and a smart TV in the dining room for your convenience.

Only 15 minutes by car and train from Aberdeen makes Stonehaven a popular destination for those seeking to experience the charm that Stonehaven and the immediate locale has to offer. This includes the world renowned Dunnottar Castle Stonehaven Golf Club The Art Deco Open air pool beautiful coastal cliff top and woodland walk pubs restaurants and shops.

The local train station is just 10 minutes away by foot with regular trains to Aberdeen and Dundee.
