Homely family run bed and breakfast in the heart of the moray coast. We have taken over ownership in Febuary 2016 and pride ourselves on our warm welcome to our home a large period Victorian town house in the centre of Buckie with four letting bedrooms all with tea and coffee making facilities and flat screen television 3 en-suite bedrooms and a triple bedroom with sole use of a large family bathroom with bath and shower. There is a communal sun room on the middle landing overlooking the Moray Firth.
A home cooked breakfast is included in the price. We also have complimentary use of our local state of the art Gym and juice bar. Set in the heart of Buckie Kintrae is a period property which sits beautifully in the heart of the town with all local facilities within easy walking distance including the starting point of the Speyside Way a popular walkers route through the famous Spey estuary and valley.
Within a short drive are several picturesque golf courses including Cullen Spey Bay Buckpool Strathlene and slightly further afield Nairn and Dunbar and Castle Stuart to name but a few. The evermore popular dolphins of the Moray Firth can be accessed by local boat trips. Buckie also sits at the start of the world famous whisky trail including such popular distilleries as Glenlivet and MacAllan all within easy driving distance however to enjoy them at their best take an organised trip.
Buckie is ideally situation to be a central point for the stunning Moray Coast which can be enjoyed by both land and sea with such local attractions and the famous Cullen ice cream shop and the notorious spotty bag shop in Banff (must be viewed to be believed). Since re-opening Kintrae in February 2016 Jackie and Mike pride themselves on excellent customer service and local knowledge with our guests wants and needs foremost in their minds. There substantial cooked breakfast and buffet will set up even the hardiest hiker for a day exploring the Northern Coast of Moray
