Welcome to the Losset Inn Public House, the friendliest traditional Scottish pub in Scotland according to some of our guests.
Our beautiful and historic family run Inn is set in the ancient village of Alyth at the heart of Strathmore Vale. Lying in the shadows of the sixth century Auld Arches The Losset (or Creel ) has been a warm and welcoming haven for travellers and indeed Drovers since 1760. Wonderfully atmospheric the inn offers guests personal attention both in our cosy lounge and in any of 3 newly refurbished ensuite bedrooms.
We are an ideal base throughout the year for visitors to the area - walking golfing skiing shooting and fishing to name but a few activities. There are numerous nearby attractions in Perthshire and Angus and we strive to help our guests have a truly memorable experience. With a range of home cooked food served daily along with an extensive drinks selection including award winning real ales and Italian coffees the Losset Inn is the perfect place to unwind and relax.
In such a historic setting you may well lose track of time but if you prefer to stay connected our free WiFi is at your service.
