Accommodation Description:

Dalmunzie Castle is a stunning quintessential Lairds mansion turreted in the Scots Baronial style & standing proudly at the head of a 6500 acre estate dating back to 1510. Enjoying magnificent mountain scenery Dalmunzie is a classic country house hotel located in a hidden part of Highland Perthshire yet is less than two hours from Edinburgh airport

Peace and tranquility are a feature of life at Dalmunzie with fires & lounges contributing to a relaxing haven from the outside world. For the more active the first tee of Dalmunzie Golf Course is only thirty yards away. Set amongst stunning scenery it was built for the private use of the Laird and his guests in the 1920’s.

Full details of this fun but challenging course can be found through the leisure page. In addition there is a tennis court numerous hiking trails fishing and mountain bikes available. We are especially proud of the attentive yet relaxed service provided at Dalmunzie where guests are made to feel at home in their own Highland retreat..

Our seventeen bedrooms are all individual in style decoration and theme and all enjoy an aspect of the stunning mountain scenery golf course or surrounding lawns. All bedrooms are located throughout the Castle in the original Hunting Lodge Oak Tower Victorian & Edwardian wings. Each bedroom is named after a family who have been an important part of Dalmunzie’s history over the last 500 years.

At Dalmunzie we feel particularly proud of the Food & Beverage we provide. Having been recommended in the Michelin guide for the last five years (2007-2013) a high consistency of product. Whether it’s a hearty breakfast in preparation for a big day a relaxing lunch between golf rounds or dressing up for a special dinner we are confident our chefs can provide guests with an experience to remember
