You will receive a warm welcome and feel immediately relaxed when you stay in the comfort of the 17th century Vine House. Situated in the conservation area of the delightful village of Guilsfield this established B&B and Self-Catering accommodation emphasises quality and a personal touch. We are more than pleased to collect guests arriving at Welshpool Railway Station or those walking the trails and to take you back on your day of departure - at no charge.

You will have en-suite centrally heated accommodation with quality king size or single ViSpring or Health beds dressed in quality bed linen. Vine House B&B offers a separate guest breakfast room and another sitting room with a real log fire for those cold nights. Flat screen LCD TVs with digital freeview DVD players and free WiFi throughout are provided for your enjoyment.

The Old Stable can also be booked for 3 night B&B stays (different rates apply breakfast included). All freshly prepared and cooked breakfasts are served whenever possible with local organic products. You will not be disappointed with the delicious breakfasts.

Cooked breakfasts are available from 7:30am. Continental breakfasts are served from 7:00am (please let us know in advance if you will require a continental breakfast or if you have any dietary requirements so that we can ensure the best of choice for you). Children are more than welcome.

Guilsfield itself whilst only 2 miles from Welshpool has two convenience stores tennis courts post office two inns playing fields children's park woodland walks an iron-age hillfort its own nature reserve and a beautiful and peaceful medieval Church. We have peaceful roads very close proximity to Powis Castle and its magnificent gardens, Lake Vyrnwy, Chirk Castle, Shrewsbury, Montgomery Castle, and incredible walks and views. The coast and Snowdonia National park are only one hour away.

Outdoor activities for the adventurous and for the golfer there are a number of challenging and beautiful courses. The area is very popular with cyclists. Bird-watchers will be spoilt for choice of locations.
