The extensive menu ranges from delicious homemade soups omelettes curry dishes and steak pies to your usual bar meals such as scampi lasagna gammon and a selection of steaks. To avoid disappointment booking is highly recommended! Sometimes known as the Welsh Lake District Llangynog is 5 miles north of Llyn Vyrnwy Lake 11 miles south east of Bala Lake and 14 miles south east of Llyn Celyn Lake. It also has easy access to the town of Llanfyllin and lies just 20 minutes from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales the Pistyll Rhaeadr or the Rhaeadr Falls. Bear in mind distances are as the crow flies and that the journey might be considerably longer ..but then that is all part of the fun of walking.
If you enjoy walking then Llangynog is the place for you. There are plenty of beautiful walks around both the village and the surrounding area offering incredible panoramic views.
