DATE AND WALNUT LOAFIngredients Preparation
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Stir in flour and nuts and then the dates.
Place in a greased and lined loaf tin and bake at 180C for 50 minutes.
Wrap in foil and keep for at least a day before cutting. Serve spread thickly with butter (NOT margarine!) Contributed
