The Dukes Head, London

Accommodation Description:
The Duke's Head is a traditional Inn, dating back to the Victorian times, located close to Richmond Upon Thames. All rooms have ensuite showers. We are idealy located for easy access to Kew Gardens

Welcome to the Duke?s Head, a small, friendly, traditional English Inn located in a quiet residential area on the slopes of Richmond Hill, with a history that dates back to Victorian times. The inn is located within walking distance of Kew Gardens and Twickenham Rugby Stadium, and close to Richmond Station, providing easy links into Central London. Other places of interest close by include Thorpe Park, Hampton Court Palace, Wimbledon and Chessington World Of Adventures

The inn lies on the edge of historic Richmond Upon Thames, a favourite retreat of royalty, the rich and the famous for hundreds of years. The River Thames runs through the heart of the town, and the area offers beautiful royal parks and historic houses, theatres, museums and galleries rich with exhibits, plus numerous shops and restaurants. Resident guests are served a hearty English breakfast every morning - although host Mairead does sometimes give it a bit of an Irish flavour

Later on in the day, reasonably priced meals are available, lunch and evening every day, and at weekends, food is served all day until 8pm. The Dalton family takes great pride in the standards of service and facilities - the pub has even won the "Richmond in Bloom" competition several times.
