This is a traditional shepherds cottage situated on a secluded hillside commanding spectacular views across Loch Awe. This self-catering holiday cottage is fantastically remote set completely on its own in an elevated position. The access to the cottage is up a mile farm track.
The natural garden is stock fenced and has a parking area beside the cottage for two cars. To the back of the property there is a well stocked log shed for your use. You enter into the cottage into a large conservatory with some soft seating and garden dining table and chairs seating six which can be taken out side.
From the conservatory there are wonderful views of the open hill and down to Loch Awe. The double glass doors then lead into the original cottage with a large twin/super-king bedroom off to the left and the cosy sitting room with a large open fire off to the right. All the walls on the ground floor have the original wooden slats which make it very warm and atmospheric.
Off the sitting room is a corridor leading to the newly fitted bathroom with a large walk in Mira shower, wash hand basin, washing machine/tumble dryer and loo. Off the corridor is also the well equipped kitchen with all you need. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a twin/super-king and a double.
There are velux windows in both bedrooms with far reaching views out the back of the cottage down to Loch Awe. There is no wifi in this cottage by popular demand but you do get good vodaphone reception. A real get away from it all in a world of its own! Key Features The cottage has two twin rooms and one double bedroom.
Bathroom with walk in shower, basin, washing machine/tumble dryer and WC. Large sitting room/dining room is complete with flat screen TV/DVD and docking station. A large original fireplace with a supply of free logs which need to be split with axe provided.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and all the equipment you would need. Garden furniture and mobile barbecue. Vodaphone mobiles work in the cottage.
