The Crown Hotel, Old Amersham

Accommodation Description:
With its full timber beams and open log fires The Crown is the perfect retreat for a romantic weekend break. During the week the combination of 21st century comfort and 16th century tradition make The Crown a popular location for business. This charming hotel also features a landscaped gardenpatio area

Set in the heart of the rolling Chiltern countryside and yet only forty minutes from London. Both mainline and underground stations service the Crown and there are excellent road links to the M25 M4 and M40 motorways. Much favoured as a honeymoon destination the Crown?s four-poster suites offer the ultimate romantic setting

The hotel features 23 traditionally decorated rooms while a brand new wing has seen the introduction of 14 more contemporary rooms styled by one of the UK?s leading interior designers. All rooms in the new wing are fully equipped with TV CD direct-dial telephone and modem socket. The Crown has introduced a new relaxed dining concept with an informal menu

The Crown offers a varied lounge menu throughout the day with meals available from 12 noon through until 10pm. In the summer you can enjoy alfresco coffee lunch or drinks under the shade of an umbrella in the garden or courtyard. And don?t miss the Crown?s delicious afternoon cream teas served in the Elizabethan Lounge a great way to round off a day?s sightseeing or shopping!
