The Alvanley Arms is a 400 year old family run Inn, nestling in the small village of Cotebrook near Tarporley in Cheshire. Rosettes, photographs, harness & horseshoes relating to Shire Horses identify the old Coaching Inn with the adjacent award winning Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre.

Why not celebrate a special occasion with a candlelight dinner, fine Wine, a Malt Whisky (or two) and an overnight stay with us here at the Alvanley Arms Inn. We have seven individually designed guest bedrooms with wonderful views of the Cheshire countryside. Each room has a character and charm of its own retaining the original beams. Fine fabrics and prints adorn the tastefully furnished rooms. The oak beamed bar offers a wide range of hand pulled cask ales, a large selection of wines & malt whiskies along with a welcoming log fire. Choose from a selection of traditional country food and contemporary fine dining as well as an imaginative Specials Board, which changes daily. Our menu changes every few weeks to reflect seasonal availability.We aim to provide our customers with quality service delivered by enthusiastic well trained staff.
