Based in an elegant Victorian house, built in Lakeland stone around 1875. The rooms at the back of the guest house offer views over Wynlass Beck. Conveniently situated in close proximity of the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness

All bedrooms are en suite with shower and are located on the first and second floors. Our Full English breakfast is all freshly prepared. If you prefer something lighter there is also a choice of orange juice, toast, grapefruit, fresh fruit salad, cereals and yogurt

There is also a residents lounge and private car parking. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE EXCLUSIVELY NON-SMOKING. LATEST CHECK IN TIME IS 2000 HOURS

Directions:
From the South follow the M6 North to exit 36 and take the A591 towards Windermere at Windermere continue on the A591 towards Ambleside. You will start to go down a hill past St Mary's Church on the left hand side and continue down the hill and we are situated on the left 100 yards before a mini roundabout (Cook's Corner).From the North follow the M6 South to exit 40 and take the A66 to Keswick follow the A591 South past Lake Thirlmere and Grasmere to Windermere at the mini roundabout continue straight on and we are 100 yards on the right.Windermere train station is approx 12 minutes walk and there are regular buses which pass The Firgarth; bus stop situated outside Firgarth car park.
