The Hotel nestles peacefully amongst the Lake District Fells and is situated just one mile from the shores of Ullswater and Aira Force. Windermere is about 20 miles away. The Helvellyn and High Street Mountain ranges are right on the doorstep which makes the Royal an ideal and comfortable base for walkers.
