From: £73.00 Cedar Manor Hotel and Restaurant is located on the outskirts of Windermere in the heart of the Lake District. Built in 1854 as a private country retreat, the hotel now provides comfortable accommodation for those wishing to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, wonderful walks and wealth of leisure facilities Windermere and the Lake District National Park have to offer. Set in mature walled gardens dominated by the 200 year-old cedar tree, the hotel feels peaceful and secluded, yet is just a short stroll away from the shores of Lake Windermere and the centre of Windermere village We have a lovely candlelit restaurant with an AA Rosette, awarded in September 2007. The A la Carte Menu, which changes seasonally and sources most of its ingredients locally, and is open to hotel guests as well as non-residents. Everything we serve is made with the freshest of ingredients, using local produce wherever possible, complimented by a specially selected wine list Pre- and after-dinner drinks can be enjoyed in the lounge bar.
