NON SMOKING HOTELBy CAR from North or South take M6 Motorway Leave at Junc (36) follow signs for A591 WINDERMERE only DONT turn off ANYWHERE until you run out of roadDo NOT follow A590 or ANY BROWN SIGNS for WESTERN LAKE DISTRICT or LAKE DISTRICT PENINSULAS you will be taken miles out of your waybasically IGNORE- ANY -BROWN -SIGNS!!(NOTE SLOW DOWN as you approach the village of INGS about 10 miles from junc (36) and 2 miles from Windermere there are Two GatsoSpecs SPEED CAMERAs and a 40mph limit make sure you are doing NO MORE than 40mph through INGS DONT EXCEED itif you do it will NOT make- your- day) on entering Windermere follow signs for Windermere - Bowness Town Centre(this is not a town it is a small villageso if you make a mistake dont panic just go round again)first land mark is the Motor World Shop on your leftimmediatlyafter passing this shop turn left on to OAK STREET OAKDENE is 200 yds up on your right hand side in a very large modern white two storey detached building past the first block of flatspark in one of the spaces provided.For keys call at OAKDENE No 98any problems call 015394-44575 or mobile 07968315825.By Train you MUST CHANGE at OXENHOLME from North or South a branch line will take you direct into Windermere the train goes no further than thiswe are 5 mins walk away just follow the road down through the village (ask anyone) or take a taxi cost about £2.50.Please note all credit card payments are charged a 3% handling fee
