This 4 diamond establishment offers well appointed en-suite bedrooms, log fires in the guest lounge and genuine Italian cuisine, created by our Italian chef, in the garden room restaurant La Cascata.Stables allow the horses of guest to stay free and dog baskets are provided for canine companions

With private access onto the Granite Way off-road cycle path you can hire one of our bikes as an alternative safe way to view the spectacular countryside.The historic village of Lydford is a jewel in this area of outstanding scenic beauty. To the north, just half a mile away, the high tors come right down to the village edge, while to the south the River Lyd winds its way through Lydford Forest

Lydford village has an interesting medieval castle and the nearby Lydford Gorge (National Trust) and White Lady waterfall is a must. Alternatively drive out to explore the Peninsula; the South Devon coast, North Cornish coasts, Eden Project, Exeter and Plymouth are all less then an hours drive away making Lydford House an ideal central location to explore far and wide!

From Exeter Take the Westbound A30 direction Okehampton Proceed along this road for approximately 20 miles turn off left direction TavistockPlymouth on the A386 the first junction after Okehampton. The turning for Lydford is approximately 4 miles on the right opposite the Dartmoor Inn. We are 400 meters on the right just before you pass over the bridge into the village. From Plymouth Head out on the A386 Tavistock road pass through Tavistock heading for Okehampton After 6 miles you will come to Lydford turn left into the village opposite the Dartmoor Inn We are 400 meters on the right just before the bridge into the village.
