The Fox has 11 individually decorated en-suite bedrooms, equipped to a high standard, with hospitality tray, TV, hairdryer and toiletries. Our Superior rooms are spacious and can be utilised as family rooms

There are two dining areas, The Oak panelled Woodhouse restaurant, and the light and airy garden restaurant. In the summer there is also the dining patio.Our Team use the finest fresh local produce, creating interesting and imaginative menus for the restaurants and bar, offering a wide choice of meat, fish and vegetarian options

Our Sunday Carvery offers a choice of Five roast meats accompanied by an impressive choice of fresh vegetables which gained The Fox a position in the Final of Pub Roast of The Year Competition.The Fox function room is an ideal setting for parties, functions, Weddings, or a business Function, with formal seating for 50 and capacity for 80 Buffet style.

From the London Area.M3 or M27 Southampton.Portsmouth.From Ringwood follow the A31 t0 Bere Regis then the A35 towards Dorchester. Exit at the Northbrook junction signed Piddlehinton and Athelhampton House. Take first exit to Cheselbourne and Dewlish. Turn right in approx 200m towards Cheselbourne then straight through Melcombe Bingham and into Ansty. The Fox is on the right hand side opposite the Post Office.From Dorchester: Take the A35 towards Poole Exit at the Northbrook junction signed Piddlehinton and Athelhampton House. Take first exit to Cheselbourne and Dewlish. Turn right in approx 200m towards Cheselbourne then straight through Melcombe Bingham and into Ansty. The Fox is on the right hand side opposite the Post Office.From Blandford: Follow the A354 towards Dorchester. at Milborne St Andrew (approx 8 miles) turn right signed Milton Abbey School Pass the school and carry on through Hilton. At the T junction turn right and after approx 400m turn left into Ansty. The Fox in on your left.
