Acorns is our recently refurbished restaurant and jaydez is a separate modern sports and music bar.
Open all year round for business or pleasure, we do our best to make your stay memorable and happy.
The Oakland Hotel is a family owned 2 star hotel, providing a warm and friendly welcome. We are conveniently located in the town centre close to Chelmsford, Basildon and Southend. The Oakland hotel boasts a recently refurbished restaurant where a full English breakfast is served followed by lunch and a wide range of evening meals. Within the hotel is Jaydeez sports and music bar.
Here you will be assured a warm welcome and bar meals are available at lunch and in the evenings. There is a big screen for major sporting events. Friday and Saturday there is a disco until 1am. We have a conference room available for hire. Hot and cold buffets can be provided. It is an ideal meeting room for up to 30 people.
The hotel has a new bridal suite with four poster bed and spa bath.
