The local village offers two pubs,'The Archers' and 'The Ship' a wine bar and two restaurants, although a licenced bar is available at the hotel itself as well as a restaurant open Monday to Friday. It offers most facilities in eating, shopping and entertainment. Romford boasts a 750 year-old local market, which is open on Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays. Close by is Romford Golf Course, along with a restaurant (on the side of the Unicorn), a "good old English" style pub and a new "fun type" pub

For those night people, Romford sports several night-clubs and pubs, including "Secrets", "Time & Envy", "The Moon and Stars'", "131", "Brannigans", "Pacific Edge", and "Yates".
