Elvey Farm, Egerton

Accommodation Description:
A medieval farmstead in a magical setting. Surrounded by 75 acres of idyllic Kentish countryside, Elvey Farm is the perfect hideaway from the modern world. Its at the end of a winding lane, with stunning views over the fields

The farm has been here since 1406, and is packed full of period features. But this is no ordinary farmyard. Expect the very latest in accommodation, with beautifully appointed rooms and modern bathrooms

Suites in the Stable Block have their own private entrances and most have living rooms - all rooms are ensuite. Spend the day exploring the bridleways and walks around the farm, and a spot of lunch in one of the many village pubs. Why not bring your dog? Theres plenty of space for them to run around

Then watch the sun set on the terrace, with a glass of champagne and only the sheep for company. In the evening, dine in our restaurant in the sixteenth century barn, and chat to other guests in our bar, before a peaceful nights sleep under ancient beams. Then in the morning, enjoy a fresh local breakfast with sausage, bacon and eggs from the village and tea and coffee from Pluckleys very own Coffee Company

Pluckley was chosen as the location for ITVs Darling Buds of May, and its easy to see why. The village hasnt changed a jot in centuries. Wherever you look, there are Oast Houses, orchards, hop gardens and fields

Its exactly as Pa Larkin left it - and just an hour from London. Elvey Farm combines rustic beauty with boutique living - its quiet, its breathtakingly beautiful - and youll find the service is second to none. Our meat is from local farms and our fruit and vegetables are from our own gardens when in season

Elvey Farm has been run by locals for centuries. Thats why we say its Kentish to the Core.
