Amanda House was individually architect built. One of the most striking features is a large glass vaulted ceiling rising up through the middle of the guesthouse where the dining room is. Amanda House is in an ideal location for exploring the city, where you will find a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars

Canterbury also has many historical and cultural places to visit; this is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding areas including the Kent coastline and fine-looking countryside. Whether on a short break, long weekend or business trip, you will find Amanda House, friendly, quiet and relaxing. Accommodation is provided in five well appointed and individually styled rooms with bathrooms and en-suites newly installed to the highest standard

One of our rooms boasts a private, flowered courtyard where you may choose to enjoy your breakfast. The guest lounge has a large screen television with Sky, DVD player and a good selection of DVD?s. The large guest kitchen is well equipped with new domestic appliances, being very handy for families

Our Breakfasts are thoughtfully prepared using only top quality products. Whether a full English, Continental or something for the kids, you will find the friendly and relaxed atmosphere an all round winner.

Canterbury Bus Station|Bus|0.5|From the Bus Station head west on St Georges Lane towards Gravel Walk, turn left at Watling Street then under the underpass. At the other side you will see the Fire Station. Walk up Old Dover Rd until you get to the traffic lights where you turn right onto Nunnery Fields, Amanda House is approximately 100 meters on the right hand side. CanterburyEast Station|Train|0.6|From the Canterbury East train station head east on Station Rd. Carry on past the petrol filling station until you come to a roundabout turn right onto Old Dover Rd past the police station. Carry on until the traffic lights where you turn right into Nunnery Fields, Amanda House is approximately 100 meters on the right hand side. Dover Eastern Docks|Road|16|From Dover Eastern Docks follow signs for Jubilee Way, at the roundabout take second exit onto the A2 following signs for Canterbury. Exit onto the A2050 then at the roundabout take the third exit onto Old Dover Rd. Continue down until the third set of traffic lights where there is a church on the corner. Turn left at the lights into Nunnery Fields, Amanda House is approximately 100 meters on the right hand side of the road. London, M2|Road|61|From the M2 follow signs for Canterbury, at junction 7 take the fourth exit onto the A2, then exit for A28 which merges with the A2050. Go over first roundabout, take second exit on next and second exit next roundabout. You will now see the city wall on your left hand side. Carry on till the next roundabout where you take the third exit into Old Dover Rd. At the traffic lights turn right into Nunnery Fields. Amanda house is approximately 100 meters on the right hand side of the road.
