There are many other attractions on the door-step and within easy reach including the Horse Racing Track Greyhound and Stockcar Stadium Caister Castle and The Vintage Car Museum.Most of our rooms have air conditioning but please ask upon booking if you would require this facility We also have 1 room specifically for our older or disabled guests and prior booking of this room is recommended to avoid disappointment. Hotel guests also have the free usage of the attached leisure facilities incorporating gym saunas indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi.We also have a lift to the main floor which is situated next to the main reception Just two miles away is the resort of Great Yarmouth with its beautiful golden sandy beaches restaurants bars cafes and shops. Along the Golden Mile you will find a Model Village Pitch and Putt the Marina Centre swimming pool and the famous Pleasure Beach Funfair.Within easy reach is Thrigby Wildlife Centre Pettits Animal Adventure Park The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads and the most easterly town of Lowestoft The Fine City of Norwich is just 20 miles away. With its fine medieval castle museum and two magnificent cathedrals its definitely worth a visit. There are many shopping opportunities with the new Chaplefield Shopping Centre complimenting the Castle Mall along with the Norwich Lanes with its many independent boutiques and charming individual stores Norfolk is famous for being the birthplace of Lord Nelson and a trip to the North Norfolk Coast and the beautiful surrounding countryside is to be recommended. Holkham Hall Blickling Hall and Holt Country Park are just three National Trust Properties in the area and well worth a visit.
