The Inn nestles by a stone bridge over the River Rede in the heart of the Cheviot Hills.
The Bay Horse Inn is an 18th Century Coaching Inn set by the river Rede in the delightful village of West Woodburn. The inn is also on the A68, the main scenic route to Scotland.
Ideally located for either a stop on your journey or as a base to explore the area, we are just 12 miles from Kielder Water, 15 miles from Hadrian's Wall, 17 miles from Hexham train station and 25 miles to Newcastle Airport.
Take some time to explore the local area, then relax with a drink by the river or enjoy a chat with one of our many friendly locals.
