Sea View B&B in Porlock is located at the foot of the outstandingly beautiful Exmoor National Park, cliffs and sea. This prominent old, characterful property is a few steps away from the high street.

Porlock, where wooded cliffs of Exmoor fall steeply down to the open sea. Our house stands between the two.

This old, characterful property is a few steps away from the High Street. Restaurants, shops/pubs; yet peaceful. ?Four Star? accommodation, fully central heated, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere

Private (limited) off-street parking, but plenty of other parking facilities close by. Furnished with antiques and original works of art. Newly remodelled, light and airy, all rooms are ensuite and fully equipped with TV/radio, complimentary tray, etc

Breakfast (7am - 9am): 20+ hot choices, using local fresh produce. With a selection of fruit, cereals, juices, yoghurts, own preserves. Fish and vegetarian options, including our home-made recipe ?Fatty Rascals?

For late risers, a continental breakfast can be left outside the bedroom. Situated opposite the visitor centre, in a walker?s paradise. Miles of picturesque coastline, half a mile from south west coast path

Also, Coleridge Way, Porlock Weir and Culbone Church (smallest operational church in UK), are all close by. Excellent, regular bus service on the doorstep. Nearby places to visit include Exmoor National Park (wild ponies/red deer); Lorna Doone Valley; character villages and pubs; North Devon Coast: Lynton/Lynmouth, Valley of the Rocks, surfing at Woolacombe, Clovelly; Dunster Castle; Minehead; Award Winning Steam Railway ? plus riding, fishing, sailing, surfing, golf and much more

Sea View has an elegant breakfast room with antique furniture, original works of art and log burning stove. There is also a TV fitted. It is located on the ground floor to the front of the house, with a panoramic sea view. For breakfast: apart from 20+ hot dishes, there is also a buffet table with a variety of cereals, yoghurts, fruit, fruit juice, homemade preserves etc. We also cater for special diets wherever possible.

Minehead|Road|4|Take the A39 towards Lynton. Descend the hill into Porlock village and come straight through the high street. At the end of the high street, the road forks off: take the right fork signposted to Porlock Weir, and we are the second house on the left, opposite Porlock Visitor Centre. Taunton|Train|23|At Taunton rail station, walk to the car park at the rear of the station where there is a bus stop and waiting room. Take the bus link to Minehead. Change at Minehead for a bus to Porlock Weir or Lynton. Lynton|Road|12|Take the A39 towards Minehead. When you descend Porlock Hill or the Toll Road, take a sharp left signposted to Porlock Weir, and we are the second house on the left, opposite Porlock Visitor Centre.
