Family owned and run we are set in a secluded area on the Somerset, Dorset, Devon borders it is surrounded by natural pasture land but only three minutes away from Chard town centre It is a perfect location for those seeking peace and tranquillity.The Olde Worlde lounge bar with its comfortable seating and real log fire has a relaxed and intimate atmosphere where you can enjoy a quiet drink or chat to fellow guests.Good quality local produce expertly cooked is the essence of our kitchen We are also open to non residents and excel in functions with professional approach.With menus tailor made to suit your tastes we are pleased to welcome you for your special occasion (weddings, private parties and anniversaries). Our banquet room can seat up to 120 guests The inviting atmosphere, top quality food and service are second to none.Restaurant menu and bar meals are available 7 evenings a week with a very popular Sunday Lunch .The breakfast is rather good too!The twenty five tastefully decorated bedrooms all have an en-suite bathroom, colour television, radio, telephone with modem port, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press and iron, hairdryer and other small touches for your enjoyment There are two Family rooms and a 4- poster bedroom with the rest being made up of twin our double bedded rooms.
