Situated on the North Bay of Scarborough, The Leeway has recently been refurbished and has superb sea views.There are bars, cafes and restaurants within a 5/10-minute walk of the guest house to suit all tastes (e.g. Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian and English restaurants are all in the vicinity).

Close to all the north bay attractions eg Cricket Ground, Bowls Centre and Peasholm Park and we are only 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Situated on the North Bay, The Leeway has recently been refurbished and has superb sea views. All 9 rooms are now ensuite (3 large family/twin rooms,3 sea view single rooms & 3 sea view double rooms).

All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities and flat screen TV\'s. We also have a brand new fully licensed sea view bar with draught beers and free wi fi access. The Sea Life Centre and the New Marina are also worth a visit.

For your entertainment, there is the Spa Theatre, Stephen Joseph Theatre and the Futurist Theatre, all offering live performances most evenings. The town of Whitby is only a 30-minute drive away, with the famous Heartbeat Country and Castle Howard both reachable by car in 45 minutes. The historic city of York is an hours drive away.

We have cot and high chair facility available. Under 2 year olds stay free of charge . Free off street parking for up to 6 cars.

Parking permits available for on street parking (cost £1.60 for 4 day parking permit) Comprehensive breakfast menu includes poached haddock with poached egg on toast, kippers as well as full English breakfast. All dietary requests accommodated. With it\'s safe beaches and many attractions, including the surrounding Yorkshire countryside, Scarborough provides the perfect seaside holiday resort for people of all ages.

Scarborough is divided into two bays- the North Bay and the South Bay.
