Appin House enjoys a very central location, a few minute's walk from Ayr's main centre, bus and train links and 5 minutes, with Glasgow-Prestwick Airport a further 15 minutes by road rail and bus. The beach is also a short stroll away.

With new owners in 2008 and having undergone a complete internal re-development and refurbishment, the property balances contemporary, stylish accommodation within a character Victorian house, still retaining the charm of its original features. Each of our 3 rooms are very tastefully decorated and designed with your comfort in mind. The rooms are equipped with hospitality tray, alarm clock, hairdryer and LCD free-view television with ironing facilities available on request.

Our Double/Twin rooms have contemporary en-suite facilities. At Appin House, our aim is to provide excellent value accommodation, whilst offering very high standards of quality and service, in a modern boutique-style setting. You can expect an extremely high level of comfort, a friendly service and a hearty Scottish breakfast to start your day! As your hosts, Melissa & David Gambles, we will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and are happy to assist with local advice and recommendations on places to visit and dine.
