From: £45.00 At the privately owned Windsor Lodge Hotel we offer a warm friendly welcome to all guests staying at our Grade 11 listed Georgian town house. Service is efficient and staff ensure that the comfort of guests is their top priority. Full breakfast is served in the dining room and light snacks are available throughout the day We also have a lounge bar for guests to relax in. There is free wireless internet. There is a non-smoking policy throughout the building and a licensed lounge bar for guests to relax in. The hotel has 18 rooms in total, 6 singles, 8 doubles, 2 twin and 1 family room. All bedrooms are en-suite with either just bath, just shower or bath/shower and toilet facilities, television, radio alarm clocks and generous welcome trays with tea and coffee making facilities Most rooms are quietly situated with some having glimpses of the sea. We offer a simple menu of home cooked food which guests can enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere. We are just a short 2 minute walk from the city centre where there can be found a wide variety of restaurants, fast food outlets and bars We have a spacious car park and are within 5 minutes walk of the train and bus stations and have a reliable local taxi service available making us easily accessible for most visitors. A few minutes drive or taxi ride takes you to The University of Swansea, Liberty Stadium, Cwmdonkin, Singleton and Brynmill Parks and the 2 hospitals, Singleton and Morriston. The city of Swansea is situated on the edge of Swansea Bay, a 5 mile sweep of sands, from the Marina to Mumbles The Gower Peninsular is just a few miles away. We are a short 2 minute walk into the city centre and close to the Dylan Thomas centre, Swansea Metropolitan University and Glynn Vivian Art Gallery. We also close to the Swansea museum, the Waterfront museum and the Grand Theatre The city centre shopping complex with its market full of local produce provides an interesting shopping experience whilst the many bars and restaurants offer a vibrant range to suit all.
