Directions:
Assuming you are coming from London Heathrow or anywhere in the South of the UK take the M4 to Junction 45 which is the Swansea exit. Take the A4067 north towards Pontardawe. Continue up the A4067 bypassing Pontardawe and keep following the brown tourist signs advertising the Dan Yr Ogof caves. The A4067 takes you past the nearby towns of Ystradgynlais and Abercrave and the road winds through the small village of Penycae immediately before you reach Craig Y Nos. The castle is a well signposted large building on your right. If you have come along the M4 from England this route will take about 1 hour and twenty five minutes from the toll Bridge into Wales.
