The Feathers Royal is a small friendly family run Hotel where the emphasis is on the guest. The hotel is ideally located in the picturesque harbour town of Aberaeron, within walking distance of the harbour and the shoreline.

Originally built in 1815 by William Lewes of Llanaeron, the Feathers Royal Hotel now boasts thirteen superbly appointed bedrooms, with luxury ensuite bathrooms, flat screen television, hospitality trays featuring welsh waffle biscuits. An attractive restaurant which was in bye gone days the old coach house retains much of its original character including beautiful stone walls, and a fine minstrels gallery. This complimented by the excellent cuisine created by our head Chef and his team, using locally sourced produce showcasing the best that Wales has to offer results in a truly remarkable dining experience whether you eat in the restaurant or our comfortable Welsh Cob bar complete with roaring log fires and comfortable seating

The large function suite which is licensed for up to 540 people is now becoming recognised as an excellent venue for Weddings, Parties and Conferences and will comfortably seat up to 200 guests for dining. For smaller meetings our Alban Gwynne meeting room is ideal for up to 15 guests and along with our flexible layout of lounge, bar and restuarant there is not much we cannot cater for, The Hotel is pleased to announce that is has a License to hold civil marriages in both its larger function suite and its smaller more intimate restaurant. Whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend away or a venue to hold a corporate event, fine dining or just an excellent afternoon tea, the Feathers has it all
